This is the blog we talked about creating at the IMPACT Evening on 23 June. For those of you who didn't come to the "Sharing Your Story" session, or for those of you who aren't even at Meadowridge, this blog is designed to just be a space where everyone can post their God moments... Those little (or big) things that you watch, or experience God doing with you everyday, so that we can all be apart of what God is doing in and around our community and be amazed and encouraged by his Goodness and Greatness. It will hopefully also be a great place for us to be inspired by each other and what God is and can do with us!
For those of you to whom blogging is new, or if you've never even heard of a blog before, just follow the simple tutorial below about how to tell us about your stories :)
- Click on the "Comments" link (this will be green, in italics, have a number in front and just after the time when the post was made, at the bottom of the post)
- You will then see a heading which says "POST A COMMENT"
- Underneith that that you will see a box. Type your comment (ie, your story) in here.
- You will notice that your typing will be in plain text. Do not worry, it will be automatically formatted to suite the blogs default text.
- After you have finished typing your story, then you will need to select an ID
- This will identify you as the person who wrote the post.
- To do this, click on the drop down box next to where it says "comment as"
- If you have a google account (Gmail, iGoogle, blogger, etc), then select this option
- If not, then select "Name/URL" and enter the name (ignore the URL line) you wish to comment as (ie, your name)
- Now click "post comment"
- You will then be asked to verify a word, to make sure that you are not a program. Type the word
- Congratulations, you have managed to tell your story on the blog, WOOHOO!!
I had a simular experience last week saterday. I was at work and on my way to get some lunch when i walked past a blind man reading brayle
ReplyDeleteas i was walking past this man as i usually did in the past i felt the spirit say to me to pray and speak Gods blessing into this mans life and obviously i was feeling a bit nervous to do this but i felt the spirit prompting me to act so i responded and put my hand on him and started to speak the truth of Jesus into his life over a short moment and at once while i was speaking i did not feel nervous anymore but just an outpouring of Gods love.
He responded positively and thanked me and i left him knowing that i had planted a seed of hope in his life by listening to the Holy spirit.
God bless
