So guys, here we go! This is the space where we can all let each other know about what God is doing with us and around us! Just reply to this post by selecting the comment option (See tutorial in the Introduction post if you are confused)
I'll get things rolling with a small God moment that I had last week. I was driving on my way to work, cant remember exactly which day it was, but it was cold and threatening to rain hard (as I think we all remember it did!). As I was driving up the road, toward Engen, I saw a lady scratching in a bin. Probably searching for food. And for once my hard heart felt for her. it was super cold outside, and soon to be poring with rain, and here this Lady was, desparately searching for some scrap of off food to eat. My heart cried out for her... but naturally, I drove on.
Now the robots by the Engen were not far ahead, and whilst I waited at the robots, I tried to justify to myself why I had a good reason to drive on... It was then that I realised that God was just saying to me, you need to go and help her.
At this point, I began to think about how I had only R100 notes in my wallet, but decided to check anyway, in case I was wrong... You guessed it, I was. There was a 10 and a 20.
The robot turned green and I turned right, and right again back into the Engen and back down the road. She was still searching in the rubbish bin. I stopped the car and went to give her the R20 and told her that I thought that God wanted to get her something nice to eat.
Needless to say, she was extremely grateful. More importantly to me though (because all needy people are grateful), was that I had heard God speak, felt my flesh attempt to deceive me, seen through it and had been able to be faithful to the call that God had asked me to do.
It was a great start to the day, just being able to be God's hands and feet and not being to busy, or disinterested to not notice and keep driving.
(Please note that I share this story not because I want to laud some perceived holiness over anyone, but because this time God won the battle in me, and I want to declare His Glory and prayer He wins again next time...)

Introduction
Hi everyone
This is the blog we talked about creating at the IMPACT Evening on 23 June. For those of you who didn't come to the "Sharing Your Story" session, or for those of you who aren't even at Meadowridge, this blog is designed to just be a space where everyone can post their God moments... Those little (or big) things that you watch, or experience God doing with you everyday, so that we can all be apart of what God is doing in and around our community and be amazed and encouraged by his Goodness and Greatness. It will hopefully also be a great place for us to be inspired by each other and what God is and can do with us!
For those of you to whom blogging is new, or if you've never even heard of a blog before, just follow the simple tutorial below about how to tell us about your stories :)
